Peacefully, surrounded by her family, Tuesday evening, October 17th, 2017 at Health Sciences North.

Loving mother of Jacqueline Liinamaa (husband Arvi), Rhéo Rochon(wife Kathleen), Gerry Rochon(wife Svetlana) and Perry Rochon (wife Carmen). Will be sadly missed by her 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents René and Hermeline(nee Lapalme) Lacroix. Dear sister of Gisèle Bazinet, Denis Lacroix, Jacques Lacroix (wife Anne) and predeceased by her sister Lilette Dupuis and her brother Alban Lacroix (wife Louise of Alban).
Madeleine was born in Messina, New York and raised in Alban. She worked many years while raising her family and retired in 1989 from her post as supervisor at Sudbury Housing. Family was her priority, she devoted herself to her children and was an especially proud mémère to all her grandchildren. Being a board member of ICAN (Independence Center and Network) was very important to her. Madeleine leaves a rich legacy of love, devotion and strong work ethics. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
